Weird things are happening to Tobias. He'll fly in one direction and end up flying somewhere totally opposite. He can't figure out what exactly is going on, until he sees something amazing: Two uninfested Hork-Bajir, running for their lives from the Yeerks. He and the other Animorphs decide to help, and it isn't long before Tobias finds out who's behind it all: the Ellimist. In return for leading the Hork-Bajir to a hidden valley, the Ellimist gives something back to Tobias that he lost long ago: the power to morph. But is the power more of a burden than a blessing?
